I wanted to convert an old ATX PSU into a lab bench power supply. Since none of the desig on thingivee fullfilled my needs I created my own design. The features are: 3.3V, 5V, 12V, and GND rails of PSU attached to banana plugs Integrated buck-boost converter to also support other voltages Two status leds One additional switch to turn PSU ooff Parts required: 1 (old) ATX PSU 1 buck-boost converter, I used this ARCELI Buck Boost Converter ( - when using a different one the dimeio may differ) 8 banana plugs (4 red ones, and 4 black ones) 10 M3 nuts 10 M3 screws (I used 8 mm) 1 M3/M4 screw nut to attach the front panel at the bottom. For this I drilled a hole in the printed part (front_plate.stl). Screws to mount psu_cover.stl and fan grill should be already available from ATX PSU Crimp connecto for wires (ring terminals to attach to banana plugs, ferrules for screw terminals) P.S.: I attached fusion360/ step files in case you need to change some dimeio for your PSU you are using / want to use a different buck-boost converter / you want to improve the design etc ;)
