My Yuneec Q500 needs proprietary Yuneec batteries. They are very expeive and will not give long flight times. So I built a conveion which coists of:
1 a reworked case from an worn down battery. (This you have to do your self)
2 a set of external docks that will hold 2 batteries in parallel
3 a conveion dock, (if you do not have 1)
In either case (1 or 3) you need to solder the relevant connecto Ec3 or Xt60, to your convenience.
